Gary Oldman Gives Thanks to the Nation During Wonderful Oscar Speech, Media Instead Runs With Allegation He’s an Abusive Anti-Semite…

I had heard Gary Oldman gave a proud speech thanking our country but when I went to Google it (because there’s no way I could actually sit through the insufferable self congratulatory circle jerk that is the Oscars) I found this instead…

Um….huh? The hell did he say?

How do you get anti-Semitic over that?

You don’t, they’re talking about that one time he “excused” Mel Gibson’s drunken stupid rant away as…well, a drunken stupid rant.

Oh who cares. That’s not a reason to piss all over someone’s historical accomplishment.

But wait there’s more…

Oh ok, let’s talk about a random accusation from his wife almost 2 decades ago, but not mention anything about Kobe Bryant who also won an Oscar somehow and actually went to court over raping a girl so bad she had “vaginal trauma.”

Kudos to TMZ which actually called celebs out on their hypocrisy and pointing out how most of them “just didn’t remember” that it had ever happened when they were asked.

Who the media picks and chooses to shame or champion is most curious indeed…

Et tu, FOX? I’m sure the intention was to point out the Hollywood hypocrisy but there were way more obviously blatant ways to do that. Like this….

Or this…

I’ve met Gary on several occasions, he’s a super nice guy. I feel bad that they seem to be punishing him for no reason other than him showing love for America….and for that I cheer him.

  1. It’s easier to attack one (white?) guy, who makes a good face of the nation, than dance around accusations of racism after successfully victim blaming some girl who was gang raped. One is a professional who has to say things he may not believe, while the other is a group of kids that play basketball. Wouldn’t want kids to get the wrong impression about what evil looks like.
